Le Pho - Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Berkeley, CA

I care about one thing foremost: the phở. And the phở was excellent. Rich and flavorful broth, and generous portions of tender beef. Banh mi was also quite good. Salted plum lemonade got a strong recommendation from my companion but was not to my taste, and is indeed VERY salty. Service was good, dining area is pleasant, spacious, and not too loud. I will be returning.

This place is so tasty! The service is great as well. Despite the name, I'd say their dumplings are way more worth the trip than their pho, but that's just a personal preference. All the food is great though, you can't go wrong in my opinion. Good portions as well. Parking can sometimes be difficult since it's right on San Pablo, but you could theoretically park in the chipotle/REI parking lot across the street. The interior is cozy but not fancy. Sort of hole in the wall-ish but I'd say everybody in the area knows of this place. Definitely worth a try!

Le Pho offers a fantastic dining experience with its chicken pho, which is richly flavored and comforting. The fried rice, featuring a delightful combo of shrimp, chicken, and pork, is perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. Food: The clay pot is to die for. The flavors blend in with the hardened rice at the bottom of the bowl. Specifically the Mongolian beef clay pot is one of the best I have had in a long time, the beef and rice, really the entire bowl is mouth watering. We live near by and this is one of our favorites default spots when we need a bit to eat. My partner loves the Banh Mi sandwiches at lunch and I tried one the other day and the chicken was so freshly cooked. My favorite is the Pho Bowl with variety of meats. My grandma used to make tripe and this is one of the only places around the serves it, and it is delicious. 1. Mongolian Beef Claypot = delicious 2. Variety Pho Bowl (with tripe) = delicious 3. Banh Mi Sandwich = delicious

Really good Pho for the Berkeley area. Classic order, nothing over the top, just solid and filling soup. Very tasty and reliable place. The staff is always friendly and the food always hot .

I am Vietnamese and this place isn't too bad for Berkeley, probably one of the best but it is still pretty under average tasting. The decor in the restaurant was very cute as it was filled with a Vietnam theme. I got the pho dac biet and it was 6.8/10. It definitely gets rid of the pho craving. The calamari was a bit dry but the green sauce they give with it was pretty good! (7/10) The service was good too as they would constantly check up on us and refill my water haha.

Was craving pho so decided to check out this place. We ordered take out and the process was painless. We called, made the order, and picked up 20 mins later. We ordered the #20 and #24 pho. The pho was good! Light and clean broth but the depth of flavor was lacking. Wasn't anything special but wasn't bad either. If you are in the area and craving pho then this will do. What I do like is that they have an extensive menu so you are bound to find something you will like. Will come here again for convenience.

First time visitors. The restaurant is spacious with windows to let in natural light. Street parking wasn't that difficult. Service was quick and friendly. The staff were attentive. Large pho #25 and it was delicious and very generous with their noodles and protein. Rice plate was ok. Seafood claypot, served in a claypot with the protein over rice. It was flavorful just more on the sweet side. I would definitely come back for their pho.
